Rick served as pastor of Schoharie United Presbyterian church for nine years. During that time, he reorganized their finances, brought the cemetery into the black, reorganized both the Deancon's and the Session so that they operated more efficiently and more effectively. Session meetings were brought to a two hour time limit (which usually worked). This included a 30 minute time for spiritual leadership development.
